{"id":1406,"date":"2010-01-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xsf.stakeholderforum.org\/2010\/01\/15\/cif-forum-manila\/"},"modified":"2010-01-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2010-01-15T00:00:00","slug":"cif-forum-manila","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/cif-forum-manila\/","title":{"rendered":"CIF 2010 Partnership Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At the request of the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) Administration Unit, Stakeholder Forum supported the mobilisation and engagement of stakeholders for the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum in Manila. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.climateinvestmentfunds.org\/cif\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Climate Investment Funds<\/a> <\/strong>are a pair of financing instruments designed to support low-carbon and climate-resilient development through scaled-up financing channelled through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.afdb.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">African Development Bank<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asian Development Bank <\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Bank for Reconstruction and Development<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iadb.org\/index.cfm?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inter-American Development Bank<\/a> , and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbankgroup.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Bank Group<\/a>. The Funds are made up of the Clean Technology Fund and the Strategic Climate Fund.<\/p>\n<p>The CIF 2010 Partnership Forum, 18th and 19th March 2010, sought to provide a space to share lessons learned from the CIF initial design process and from early implementation of the CIF-funded projects. It provided an opportunity for stakeholders to interact with one another and governments, and to inform the decision-making process.<\/p>\n<p>In preparation for the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum, Stakeholder Forum:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>facilitated a      self-selection process for NGOs, supporting the development of a criteria      for selecting representatives to be funded to attend the meeting;<\/li>\n<li>generated awareness      amongst all stakeholder groups of the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum, Stakeholder Forum also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>produced a full      procedure report from the meeting available for participating and      non-participating stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>engaged&nbsp; stakeholders in roundtable discussions      on the conference program areas with the production of radio programs; and <\/li>\n<li>produced a series of      podcasts live from the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum that were shared amongst      stakeholders unable to attend the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stakeholder Forum will again support the preparatory process&nbsp; to encourage effective engagement at the CIF 2011 Partnership Forum, hosted by the African Development Bank in Tunis, Tunisia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR FUNDING TO ATTEND THE CIF PARTNERSHIP FORUM 2011<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the request of the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) Administration Unit, Stakeholder Forum supported the mobilisation and engagement of stakeholders for the CIF 2010 Partnership Forum in Manila.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[57],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1406","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1406","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1406"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1406\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1406"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1406"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sf.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1406"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
