The submission  covered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Enhanced UNEP<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Specialized agenncy such as WEO and clustering and strengthening MEAs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Possible Ecosoc reforms and the Commission on Sustainable Development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The paper can be doanloaded from<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNEP is hosting regional IEG stakeholder dialogues. Information for this can be obtainign either through the UNEP regional office or through the UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholder Branch.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ce0064;\">New Roadmap now up<\/span><a name=\"news2\"><\/a> <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Stakeholder Forum have updated their roadmap to 2010 with new key dates available <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"..\/fileadmin\/files\/roadmaptoearthsummit2012updateoct10.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Argentina will chair G77 in 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ce0064;\">Green Economy Update<\/span><a name=\"news3\"><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Stakeholder Forum and the New Economic Foundation are plannign a Green Economy Principles workshop date yet to be announced.<\/p>\n<p>UNEP is hosting regional stakeholder dialogues on the Green Economy information can be obtained from the UNEP Major grousp and Stakehodlers part of the UNEP web site.<\/p>\n<p>Later this year UNEP will launch its Green Economy Report . The report has sectoral chapters and a concluding policy oriented chapter.  There will be some other  products which have already been issued include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Green Economy Report: A Preview<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Green Economy: A Brief for Policy Makers on the Green Economy and MDGs, Sept. 2010<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Green Economy: Developing Country Success Stories<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Green Economy: Driving a Green Economy through Public Finance and Fiscal Policy Reform<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Within the UN system the lead for a system wide approach is the Environmental Management Group (EMG) (chaired by UNEP)  it has established an Issue Management Group (IMG) which is producing paper on Green Economy, with a draft expected for comment by PrepCom2.<\/p>\n<p>The OECD has produced an Interim Report of the Green Growth Strategy: Implementing our commitment for a sustainable future which will be discussed at its meeting starting on the 18th of October in Paris<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span style=\"color: #ce0064;\">2nd UNITAR-Yale Conference on Environmental Governance &amp; Democracy<\/span><a name=\"news4\"><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The report from the 2nd UNITAR-Yale Conference on Environmental Governance &amp; Democracy, which was held at Yale 17-19 September 2010 is now out it identifes the research and knowledge sharing needed to address climate change and the green economy and represents an input to the preparations for Rio+20.
