However, opportunities to turn environmental mainstreaming into a driver for positive change are often overlooked when environment is not considered during the development planning process.  At first glance the above definition looks relatively straightforward, but at the same time there exists a lot of confusion about what mainstreaming actually is. A diamond\u2019s strong atomic bonds also represent cooperation among the different interest groups and stakeholder that operate at the land-ocean interface; Finally, a diamond has great beauty and is valued by all.
