Stakeholder Forum has produced a series of Global League Tables on countries’ commitments to Multilateral Environmental Agreements, which can be found here.
Stakeholder Forum has played a critical role in advocating for an Earth Summit in 2012, which has now been approved by the UN General Assembly. Stakeholder Forum will continue to play a key co-ordinating role in the run-up to this crucial policy event.
For the UN ECOSOC Annual Ministerial Review on Sustainable Development, July 2008, Stakeholder Forum conducted a global stakeholder consultation on sustainable development and the 7th Millennium Development Goal, providing perspectives and recommendations for the consideration of the review.
The GPPN is a joint initiative of Stakeholder Forum and Stockholm International Water Institute, working with global stakeholders to identify priorities for the international water and sanitation agenda, and communicate those priorities to decision-makers.
Stakeholder Forum played a key role in facilitating civil society engagement in the run-up to the CPF and CHOGM in November 2009. Stakeholder Forum co-ordinated inputs from civil society, resulting in a civil society statement focussing on a number of key themes.
