MDG Radio Series
Produced and recorded in New York during the Sixteenth Session of the Commission on Sustainable Development, Stakeholder Forum’s MDG Radio Series presents a sequence of roundtable discussions around the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in preparation for the High-Level Event called by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and President of the General Assembly Dr. Srgjan Kerim in September 2008.
Felix Dodds sits down with leading figures from civil society, government, the UN and the private sector to critically examine our progress on the eight MDGs. Each half-hour roundtable discussion tackles a different goal and asks the big questions: Have we made any progress yet? Are we going to make the targets in time? What are the challenges we are facing and how are those challenges changing? What role does the environment play in the MDGs? |
