Philip Dobie steps down as Chair of the Board

After three years of service as the Chair of the Stakeholder Forum Board of Directors, Philip Dobie, former Director of the UNDP Environment Cluser in Nairobi, has stepped down. Mr. Dobie, who has 30 years of experience in international development, helped guide Stakeholder Forum in the preparation for and follow-up to the Rio+20 Conference.

Philip will retain his seat on the Board and will participate in the forthcoming elections to appoint a new Chair. In the meantime, fellow Board member, Craig Bennett, Director of Policy and Campaigns at Friends of the Earth (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) will be the Board’s Acting Chair.
