SIDE EVENT: Sustainable Development Governance towards UNCSD 2012

On Monday 10th January at 6.15pm Stakeholder Forum will host a side event on sustainable development governance towards Rio+20. The event will take place at the UN Headquarters in New York, alongside the first intercessional meeting for Rio+20.
Stakeholder Forum will launch two think pieces on global governance for sustainable development, to contribute to the discussions on the institutional framework for sustainable development, one of the two main themes for Rio+20. The event will be addressed by Felix Dodds, Executive Director of Stakeholder Forum, Jan-Gustav Stranandeas; Senior Advisor to ANPED and author of one of the think-pieces; “Sustainable Development Governance” from the World Resources Institute, and Hannah Stoddart, Head of Policy and Advocacy at Stakeholder Forum.
Stakeholder Forum will also share more information about its sdg2012 programme – a programme of work on sustainbable development governance towards Rio+20. The event aims to stimulate discussion and debate, and get more stakeholders involved in Stakeholder Forum’s programme.
