Review of implementation of Agenda 21 and the Rio Principles
The UN Division for Sustainable Development (DSD), a division of the UN Department of Economics and Social Affairs (UNDESA) has produced a study on the review of the implementation of two of the major outcomes of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) held in Rio in 1992; the Rio Declaration and Agenda 21. The study is part of a broader project, Sustainable Development in the 21st Century (SD21), whose objective is to provide a long-term vision for sustainable development based on the development since the Earth Summit.
