The GPPN is a joint initiative of Stakeholder Forum and Stockholm International Water Institute, working with global stakeholders to identify priorities for the international water and sanitation agenda, and communicate those priorities to decision-makers. The GPPN has developed a specific focus on raising the profile of water issues in the context of the climate change negotiations. It worked with a broad coalition of water stakeholders to push for a strong outcome on water at COP15 in Copenhagen, launching a report for COP15 entitled ‘Water World: Why the Global Climate Challenge is a Global Water Challenge, and producing rapid responses to developments in the negotiations throughout the two weeks.
As a partnership between Stakeholder Forum and Stockholm International Water Institute, the GPPN has its own dedicated website where all relevant information can be found. Some selected downloads are also available on the right.
